At Wholesome Goodness, we’re focused on making better-for-you products that make living the life you want to live easier and more affordable. When we met Jaime Parker through our relationship with Bashas’ Grocery Stores in Arizona, we knew immediately that we shared a lot of common values.
As a health coach with the Wellness Council of Arizona, a nationally certified personal trainer, and a group fitness instructor, Jaime has made it her life’s work to help others improve their health and achieve their fitness goals.
On a more personal note, Jaime is an accomplished runner having competed in over 40 full marathons. Making her feat even more remarkable however is the fact that Jaime, as an adolescent, was diagnosed with severe scoliosis, which severely restricted her mobility. Fortunately, Jaime was able to find joy in running which helped strengthen her back and positively impacted her entire well-being. Now pain-free, Jaime truly believes that her journey has taught her the virtues of hope, perseverance, and inner strength.
When we learned that she was in-training for this year’s Boston Marathon* we wanted to assist Jaime in any way we could. So, we are providing Jaime with the Wholesome Goodness products she wants to fuel her training. In thanks, Jaime has volunteered to take us behind the scenes and give us a glimpse of what it looks like to train for the country’s most famous long-distance races.
So we’re thrilled to introduce Jaime Parker! Each week she’ll be updating us on her training regimen, what she ate and how many trainining miles she ran up until the week before the race. The week of the event, Jaime will update us daily as she heads to Boston to compete. Email us questions for Jaime at firstname.lastname@example.org or on our Facebook page or tag them with #AskJaime on Twitter. Each week, Jaime will answer several of your questions and provide us with her unique insights.
